Chevy 350 roller cam kit

If flat tappet hydraulic (?), I strongly recommend Crower Cam Savers or Howard's Direct Lube lifters. Don't go wild on the ramps, lift, or most importantly spring pressure. Use a good cam core (one from Cam King, CStraub, or Crane or Howard's.).

So if the reason you are doing this is because you are scared of a flat tappet failure, just use common sense. I guess the trick is to find a good used set  I seems that if all the parts look OK and there is no appreciable slop in the roller axles, they will run again in another motor. I dunno if there is the possibility of scrounging a used roller set-up out of a wreck.

OK, I'll get flamed and maybe there is no easy way to do this, but the 302 Ford truck guys are scrounging used roller assemblies out of Mustangs and fitting them to their truck blocks. So what's the goal here? A daily driver, or a hot rod.
